The speculator vastness of the Upper Gascoyne is host to one on the most remote festivals in the world. Come and celebrate this ancient Country by fire light! Roads less travelled lead to the Burringurrah Festival of Fire - now a two day festival set in two locations. Friday night plays host to a twilight concert with Mt Augustus, the largeset monocline in the world as a backdrop! While Saturday is set for adventure at the Burringurrah Remote Aboriginal Community and features Fire Sculptures by the Burringurrah community who team up national sculptors Bernie Doherty, Oscar McCozer & Anton Blume. Other entertainment includes international festival favourites Eloise Green the Hula Hoop Queen, Family Shoveller Band, Formidable Vegetable Sound System, James Abberely, Miss Max, Layla & Dazastah!

Come and feast your eyes, ears and souls next to the fires and enjoy bushtucker while aerial enchantresses Jade Mills and Theaker von Ziarno perform under the vast and ancient night sky.

This festival is only for self-reliant travellers. Accommodation and fuel can be found 40kms away at the Mount Augustus Tourist Park and road and weather conditions must be checked before your start your drive!
